Bio
Sam O’Connor Russell is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Naomi Harte, working in the area of multimodal interaction. Sam joined Sigmedia as a research assistant on the RoomReader project in June 2021, exploring how artificial intelligence can enhance the experience of online interaction over tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. He holds an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, and a BAI in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
